JONES, Ruth L., age 94, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 18th, 2018. Ruth was born on March 26, 1924 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Oliver and Martha Ann Franklin Weaver. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John C. Jones, Sr. and son, John C. Jones, Jr. She is survived by her loving daughter, Debra (David) Mills; granddaughter, Cortnie (Zach) Steinmetz; grandson, Walker Jones; and her dear friend, Don Hickey. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and SouthBrook Christian Church. Ruth was always a shining spirit, defined by her love of faith, family and Fashion.
