Ruth E. Dunn

Dunn, Ruth E., age 93, a lifelong resident of Beavercreek passed away on Friday, July 31,2015. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Cowell and her father, Morris Himler; her first spouse, James MacDonald, second spouse ,Charles Dunn, daughter, Barbara A. Everette, 2 brothers, Paul and Morris Himler, a sister, Jackie, a grandson, Neil Everette and a great grandson, Angelo Atkins. She is survived by a sister, Miriam Coleman, of TN; brother, John (Karen) Colwell, of Enon; 2 sons, James (Gloria) and Ronald MacDonald; two daughters, Constance (Ed) Ross and Patricia MacDonald; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Ruth had an unbroken bond with her granddaughter, Jessica and Bryan Woodford. Many thanks to Pinnacle Pointe Nursing Home and Hospice for their care and thoughtfulness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with Reverend Brenda Tallent officiating. Interment will follow in Davids Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
