Robert F. Tanner

TANNER, Robert F.”Bob”, age 86, of Byrdstown, Tennessee, formerly of Washington Township passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital South. Robert was born on November 15, 1927 in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee to the late William Edison and Lelia Mae Stanley Tanner. He is survived by his sons, Tom (Tammy) Tanner and Dave Tanner; daughter Kathy Blackburn; grandchildren, Jill Tanner, Sara Blackburn, Kevin Blackburn, David Tanner II, Thomas Tanner II and Sarah Tanner; and a brother, Rex (Patty) Tanner. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the founder and President of Airtron Inc. and later President of Tanner Heating/Air Conditioning Inc. He was a member of Millennium Lodge #0779 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Shrine, Lifetime Spike member of the Home Builders Association, Past President of Dayton Air Conditioning Association.
