Robert "Bob" E. Ramsey

Ramsey, Bob (Robert) E., 73, of Dayton, OH went home to the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born on October 16, 1950 in Pittsburgh PA. Bob attended the University of Pittsburgh and received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He retired from Northrop Grumman in 2019. He was a lifelong science-lover and enjoyed building his first computer as a teen and becoming a proficient HAM radio operator. He loved helping his grandson, Miles, with his own experiments. He always spread love and peace and was always ready to help a friend. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son, he was preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Anna; and his wife of 30 years, Vicky (Virginia Aceituno). He is survived by his two daughters Sara (Simon) Workman and Lisa (Alex) Ramsey Tienda, and his grandson Miles. He is also survived by his brothers Dennis, Kevin (Lori) and David; his sisters Christine, Janet, Teresa, and Kathy; and his brother-in-law, Jose Aceituno and sister-in-law, Susana (Lindsey) Rosin. The family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45429. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 18, 2024 at St. Leonard Church, 8100 Clyo Rd., Centerville, OH 45458. Father Lawrence Mick officiating.
