Robert is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Rob (Maryann), Tania (Jobe), and Nadia; grandchildren, Emily, Isabella, Julia, Elliot, and Henry; and siblings, Ellen, Roger, Carl, Mark, Carol, Glen, and Deb.
Bob was an extraordinary man who grew up in Kalida, Ohio. He enjoyed working on the family farm and auto garage. He attended the seminary and then decided to head to the big city for college. He graduated from the University of Dayton and then served in the Vietnam War.
Robert loved to learn and kept himself challenged. He had many occupations including CPA, financial director of Kettering and Englewood, computer software designer, as well as many other enterprises.
Robert lived his life to the fullest. He loved traveling, hiking, fishing, old cars, adventures, helping others, and spending time with his family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 12:00-4:00 at the family home. Memorial donations may be made to the Central and Southern Ohio Chapter of the ALS Association (webcsoh.alas.org).
