HUMMEL, RITA ANN, age 74 of Hillsboro, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Monday December 12, 2022. She was born in Kettering, Ohio to Paul and Norma (Petry) Hummel. She is a graduate of Stivers High School. She was a Beautician in Dayton. She worked for many years as a Bookkeeper at Detmer and Sons Heating/Cooling Co.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Paula Hummel and Nancy Hummel. She is survived by her brother Timothy (Karen) Hummel, nieces Jaime (Brad) Davis, Cindy (Brandon) Douglass and Michelle (Nick) Maddox. 2 Great Nieces and 4 Great Nephews and friends Clayton (Leslie) Eldridge and the Eldridge families.
The family will receive friends on Thursday December 22nd from 10am to 12noon at the Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Burial will be at Royal Oak Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio.
