Philip Adams

Philip Adams, of Kettering, Ohio, passed Sunday January 14th, 2024 at the age of 77. Originally from Springfield, Ohio, born of Harvey P. and Anna Louise Adams, Philip lived a life of work, sacrifice, and love.

Philip was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Donna Rae Adams and his daughter, Melissa (Adams) Olson.

Philip is survived by his son, Chad M Adams of Miamisburg, Ohio; his sister, Linda Adams of Kettering; and his brother Eugene Adams, Florida. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Chad Olson of Kentucky; two grandchildren, Meagan Hollis of Indiana, and Alana Olson, Kentucky. Included are his two great-grandchildren, Melissa Hollis and Jackson Hollis.

During his life, Phil, made loving sacrifices in the care of his beloved wife Donna as she battled illness through many years by staying by her side, caring for her, and spending his time with her during hospital stays. His love extended to his departed daughter, Melissa, as when she unexpectedly passed, he continued to visit her final resting place regularly until he could no longer make the drive. His love was always held close to his heart, in life, and will so in death.

Always willing to help, everyone could count on Phil. Even in retirement, he was a restless soul always wanting to help and never wanting to let anyone down. Even through this past fall, you could see Phil making his daily rounds at the grocery store, Dollar Tree, or playing with his favorite German Shepard, Kaiser, who he would visit for hours during the day.
