She retired from Civil Service as a Financial Specialist in 1997 after working in the Avionics, Flight Dynamics, Propulsion and Materials Laboratories, the AFWAL Staff as well as the F-15 and Advanced Cruise Missile Program Offices. She went on to work as a Federal Contractor with the Anteon Corporation, GDIT, MCR, LLC., ARINC, Booz Allen Hamilton, Advanced Core Concepts, and KBRWyle. She had the best job in the world, having worked on the Combat ID program for 38 years of her lengthy career with the Department of Defense and the United States Air Force. Finally, on April Fool’s Day of 2020, she retired after 49 and a half years.
She so loved all of her family and so many wonderful friends – some of them were friends for over 45 years and she made it her mission to keep in touch with as many of them as she could. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was truly blessed. Her goal was to lead her life so when she got to Heaven, God would say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
