SCULLY, Owen A. Jr. age 92 of Centerville, OH, passed away Sunday, June 16 2013. He was with the Army’s 22nd infantry when Utah Beach was attacked during the Normandy invasion. He received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton. He was retired from WPAFB. He was a member of Harmony Creek Church, the Dayton Ballroom Dance Club, and VFW Post 9927 of Kettering, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Wanda and a daughter, Denise Scully-Neal. Owen is survived by a brother, Daniel Scully of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son, Thomas J Scully of Miamisburg, Ohio; two grandchildren, Tammy Kessel and Aaron Scully; numerous great grand-children and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Friday, June 21, 2012 from 11 am until time of service at 12 noon.
