Marketha Kay Moore

Moore, Marketha Kay, age 71, of Wadsworth, OH passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. She was born in Gallipolis, OH on September 8, 1948, to Burley and Wilma (Wolf) Scott, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronal Scott and a sister, Becky Elkins. Marketha is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Smitty Moore; children, Shannah (Rod) Kurjian, Scott (Katrina) Moore, John (Molly) Moore, Robert Moore, Robyn (Damon) Miller, Christina Moore; "adopted children", Gary and Gigi Snyder; her sister, Maggie (BJ) Johnson; two brothers, George Scott, Jerry (Carol) Scott; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was a graduate of Waynedale High School in Apple Creek, OH, Western Kentucky University in 1993 with a BS in Social Work and the University of Louisville in 1996 with a Master's Degree in LSW. Together, she and Smitty operated Together We Can Counseling Center in London, Kentucky for 12 years. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020,at 3:00 p.m. at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road with Pastor Mark Kirchhofer officiating.
