Lana Dee Carroll, 77, of Beavercreek passed on Friday September 1, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Martha Jordan, her brother David Jordan, her mother Delores Locker and her furbabies Mickey and Misty. She is survived by her daughter Cyndee (Bruce) Pilbeam, her granddaughter Nova Pilbeam, her brother Mark (Joan) Jordan, nephews Zach (Allison) and Alex Jordan, her sister Vonni Stambaugh and nephew Kyle Stambaugh.
Lana was born in Dayton, graduated from Julienne, now Chaminade Julienne, High School in 1964 and eventually called Beavercreek her home. She crossed off many bucket list items including living near the beach in Virginia where she retired from Flowserve (formerly Durion) after 42 years. She returned home to be with family in 2006. She spent another 12 years working for TriComB2B before re-retiring in 2019.
Lana enjoyed traveling. Visiting beaches up and down the east coast and the bright lights of Las Vegas. Weekend getaways for shopping with her best friends, Deb Howard and Kate Pope. She loved to play cards and do Sudoku puzzles while listening to music. She rarely passed up an opportunity for a good concert. She took every opportunity to host living room picnics, fashion shows and late night girl talks with her granddaughter.
She spent her retirement trying new things like painting and caring for Snowball, who she shared custody of with Nova.
Friends and family will gather in the coming weeks to celebrate her. Celebrate the life she lived and how she impacted so many.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.tobias-fh.com for the Carroll family.
