Klein, Katherine Lee age 95 of Miami Township passed away at her residence on Thursday February 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years , Melvyn Charles Klein ,2 sons Gary and Kevin, her parents Annie and William Shahan, a brother Bill and sisters Helen and Margie. Survivors include her two daughters Pamela Pursifull and Robin Kurtz; grandchildren, Christopher and wife Natalie Pursifull, Kimberly and husband Chuck Carter, Skylar and Jerid Kurtz; great grandchildren, Hannah, Abby, Chance, Maddie, and Scarlett; her brother, Jack Shahan and her extended family and many good friends. She was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, Epsilon Nu Chapter of the Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, The Child Conservation League, and volunteered at Bethany Lutheran Village. She retired from Rikes Department Store. However the most important thing to her was her family, She loved being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, her family meant everything to her!! Funeral Service 1 pm Tuesday February 23, 2016 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Rev Denise Weaver officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery.
