I met Judy at North Cypress  where we worked for several years. Though we weren’t in the same department,  we spoke often. Judy was always a friendly person and taking care of business. 
I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. My sincerest sympathy to her family. 

I worked with Judy at occupational health until she moved, I tryed to keep in contact but never found her.  I didint know she had moved back.  She was so fun to work with, she made me a magnet the said ""my next husband will be normal" . Soryy to tell you Judy it didnt happen for me.   you will be missed

Judy was a loving grandmother.  She was kind and concerned for all.  She was fun to be around.  She will be remembered and missed.  I’m praying for God’s peace and comfort for her loved ones.

I was lucky to have worked with Judy for a few years. We had so much fun.  She was a great friend. She was a great nurse and educator.  She was also a loving wife, mom and grandmother. I pray for her husband, daughter and the rest of the family. I know she is with God and is smiling down at her loving family.

Cousin Rick and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Judy was an amazing woman and I enjoyed talking with her at  Wartinger reunions when she was there.  I was so glad to see her at the family reunion in 2019, before covid, before the world seemed to turn upside down.  I’m thankful to have known Judy and her warm, kind smile.  May the love she gave all of you comfort you always.

Judy's father, Paul, was my dad's best man in 1947
 Therefore, I've known Judy, her sister  and parents all my life. My maiden name was "Judy" for whom she was named. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up and playing with Judy. We just reconnected a few years ago on FB. She was so loved by me...by many. My deepest sympathy to her family. 

Ms. Judy was the nurse educator for the med-surg department, and one of the interviewers who hired me to my first nursing job as a graduate nurse about 10 years ago.  There had been a delay with my documentation, which meant I may have lost the offer, but things came through at the last moment. I still remember the great big hug with which she welcomed me when she saw I made it in.   I remember her as bright, bubby, and fun to be around. I am glad to have met her, and trust that she is in a much better place now. 

My thoughts and best wishes are with her family at this difficult time.

Your Mom left us too soon.  We don't know what God's plan is but we have faith that it is a great one.  Patients and students have been lucky to be a part of her life.  We have fond memories of our Friday night Mexican dinners and Cooper gatherings.  We pray that you will find comfort in each other and we wish you moments of peace in the days ahead.

Judy Byrd will be missed by her colleagues and friends at The Vintage. Her legacy as the first educator, building the department in a brand new hospital was the foundation of our department now. I loved working with her for the short time last year when she came back to work with us. A beautiful lady. Prayers for her family.



Judy was such a warm, caring person.  She truly was a treasured member of our team in the Lone Star College Nursing department.  Many prayers and blessings to her family.  There is another angel in heaven looking over you now.
