John C. Fields, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Woodglen Nursing Home. He was born June 16, 1937 in Hazard, KY to the late Jacob Fields and Marian Daniels. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Fields. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Yvonne (Petree) Fields and a son, John Fields, both of Dayton He is also survived by a sister, Cynthia Weniger, three grand- daughters and eleven great-grandchildren. He retired from Chrysler in 1991. Friends may call at the Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Rd. on Wednesday, July 22 from 11 AM until 1 PM. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
