James Edwin Towe

Towe, James Edwin, age 72, of Kettering, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, Rofa Jean Towe. James is survived by his 3 children, Denise (Ronnie) Mays, John Towe, James (Kim) Towe; his former spouse, Edarose Wolf; 6 siblings, Hugh, Herman, George, Sam and Raymond Towe, Lucy Abbott. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. James was a decorated veteran of the United States Army, having proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era with the 101st Airborne Division. He was a former member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Interment with full military honors will follow in Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
