Gladys Uree Wilson Arnold

ARNOLD, Gladys Uree “Bunny," age 93 went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, June 21, 2015. Born May 25, 1922 to the late Ollie and Luther Wilson. Also preceded in death by her husband, William Arnold and grandson, Chris Arnold; brother and sister in law, Lewie (Mildred) Wilson; Gerald (Lois) Wilson; Mack Wilson and sister in law Martha Wilson. She is survived by her children, Bev (Larry) Olsen, Jim (special friend, Nancy Pittman) Arnold, and Barb Arnold; grandchildren, Jeff Olsen, Jim (Kim) Arnold Jr., Eric (Dee Dee) Olsen; great grandchildren, Derek and Austin Olsen, Luke and Morgan Arnold; 2 sisters and a brother in law, Jean (Elvin) Fisher, Carol Ann (Wilbur) Graham; brothers and sister in law, Don (Norma) Wilson as well as sister in law, Alice Wilson. She was a genuine blessing, someone so special. Her patience, wisdom and loyal dedication are an endless inspiration. Her spunk, smile and zest for life brought joy and made the hearts of people she encountered happier. The time she took for us made a difference in loving lasting ways. She was friendship, strength and most of all love, our family foundation. She enjoyed working many years in retail and sales, she loved caring for young children. She was “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. A visitation will take place from 6-8pm on Friday, June 26, 2015 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on June 27, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 S. Smithville Rd. Burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery. Lunch will be held in the basement of Immaculate Conception Church following burial. Memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
