BAUER, Diane E., age 73 of Dayton (originally from New Jersey), passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in her passing by her parents Edwin and Bertha Wittick, son Bobby, sister-in-law Alice Alfano, and her fur babies (Major, Baron (Bear), Crystal, Gemini, Tiggers, and Wookie). She is survived by her husband of 52 years George Bauer, sons Jeff (Petra) Bauer and Tom (Jason) Bauer, grandchildren Alexander Bauer and Kristina Bauer, and sisters Claire (Jon) Jervert and Wendy (Bob) Ettel. Diane was the most loving mother to her husband and three sons and a very close friend to many. She was an American Folk Artist selling her creations at Mistletoe Mart (always being the number one seller) and Noah's Ark in Waynesville. But her most fulfilling calling was using her talents as a medium/after death communicator. She provided meditation classes, workshops/lectures, group sessions, and most importantly, readings. The majority of her readings were for people that had lost children reaching many in the local area, but also stretching from California to Australia bringing comfort and closure to hundreds. Please note that her memorial visitation will not be to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her amazing and beautiful life. It will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420, or to Animal Resource Center, 6790 Webster St., Dayton, Ohio 45414. www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
