Debra Kay Davis Moore born in Dayton, Ohio to Ralph and Rose Davis, both of which preceded her in death. One of six children, of which brother Billie Davis and sister Barbara Haynes preceded her in death. She is survived by brother Jack Callahan, sister Geneva Shaver, and sister Bernice Musgrove. Debra Kay was raised at The Old Soldier's Home in Xenia, Ohio from fourth grade until she graduated high school in 1972.
Kay, as her family called her, married Danny Moore on November 25, 1977, of which three children were born- Angela Moore, of Lexington, Kentucky; Vanessa Moore, of Huber Heights, Ohio; and Nathan Moore of Beavercreek, Ohio. Nathan, and his wife Emily Moore, gave her two grandchildren-Emma Moore and Holden Moore, of which all survive.
Kay was a homemaker since 1979, when her first child was born. She was a member of the Knollwood Church of Christ, and all of her children became Christians. Becoming a grandmother, and spending time with her grandchildren, gave her immense joy. Kay passed away after a two year battle with one of the rarest cancers in the world, fighting hard to survive the entire time.
