David Sprague

David L. SPRAGUE Jr., age 60 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 17, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosanne Sprague in 2017. He is survived by his father, David L. Sprague Sr., two children; Joshua (Silvia) Sprague and Kourtney (Matthew) Sprague. Three grandchildren also survive him: James, Bethany and Sofia; as do five sisters: Kimberly Petrakos, Mary Jane “Janie” Stricker (Stephen), Sharon (Robert) Walker, Jennifer Sprague, and Dawn Arrowood. David was a devoted father, pawpaw, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. David was the proprietor of a window and door replacement business, DLS Windows LLC. David was a Christian, Marine, business owner, and believer in the importance of family and conservative values. He enjoyed cooking, riding his motorcycle, fishing, hiking, camping, games, and spending time with his family and friends. Always willing to help someone out, David’s handiwork can be seen in the homes of many of his family members and his support given in the memories of those who knew him. David will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel on Thursday afternoon, February 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM immediately following the visitation. Disposition will be held privately at a later date.
