Dale Vernon Moore

MOORE, Dale V., age 88 of Riverside, passed away on Friday August 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Moore, sons Douglas Moore and John Moore, parents Alexander and Hazel Moore, step-mother Wilda Webber, and sister Loreata Pruitt. He is survived by his children Deborah (William) Froschauer, Denyse (Frank) Carone, Dawn (Van) Short, Daniel (Cristi) Moore, Dale G. (Connie) Moore, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and dear friends Dorothy and Ralph Nieter. Dale served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and went on to work as a civilian at WPAFB. He worked in research and development and retired after 31 years as chief of the contract review division. Dale was a member of the National Contract Management Association and the Knights of Columbus 3730. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to 10 Wilmington Place for their care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd. Fr. Anthony Geraci celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. on Tuesday, September 4.
