Allan Gene Stevens

Allan Gene Stevens, was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah, July 31, 1951 and passed away unexpectedly in Centerville, Ohio April 19, 2023. Allan was the cherished oldest son of Gene LeRoy Stevens and Shana Mareah Stevens (Hafen). He grew up alongside his siblings, Dale Stevens (Beverly), Jan Newbold (Paul), Robert Stevens, and Michael Stevens (Lana). He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. As a lifelong learner, Allan earned a Master's Degree, which helped pave the way for his successful career. Throughout his life, Allan had a passion for adventure and exploration. His work allowed him to become a world traveler, visiting the seven wonders of the world and every continent except Antarctica. Allan was an athlete, he played football in high school, completed several marathons, and became an avid golfer. Music held a special place in his heart. He and his brothers formed the Stevens Brothers Band while he was in his 20s that helped fund his education. Allan also found great joy in researching his family genealogy and learning about his ancestors. A dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Allan served in various positions, but he held his role as a ministering brother close to his heart. His commitment to his faith and community was evident in all aspects of his life. Allan shared 43 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Denyse (Priest) Stevens. Their strong and devoted relationship was an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they raised their four children: Dorshan Millhouse (Jason) of Texas, Christopher Allan Stevens (Melissa) of Florida, A Geoffrey Stevens (Casey) of Ohio and Alexandra Stevens of Ohio, who blessed them with thirteen grandchildren - Emmeline, Trent, Spencer, Anna, Josephine, Benjamin, Taden, Olivia, Madelyn, Zakary, Nolan, Brigham and Alexis. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, followed by the memorial service at 6:00 PM. The services will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 901 E. Whipp Road, Kettering, OH 45459. As we remember Allan's life and legacy, our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has reached out to us with love, support, and prayers during this challenging time. Your compassion and kindness have been a great source of comfort, and we are truly grateful for the many thoughtful gestures and words that have been offered in our behalf. We are blessed to have such a caring community surrounding us, and your heartfelt actions will forever be remembered.
