Terrance Albert McGuire

In loving memory of Terrance “Terry” J McGuire, born November 25, 1940, in Seattle, WA, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 83. Terry was a dedicated truck driver for URM and various companies in the Yakima Valley. He is survived by his son Chris, daughter-in-law Eleanor, sister-in-law Clara, and many nieces and nephews. Terry's roots were in Richland and Prosser, WA. He attended Gonzaga University for a year and then went to help his father in his father’s shoe store.

After moving to Spokane in 1967, Terry balanced work, college, and raising a young family. Terry was always looking to make his vehicles go faster, whether it was his 59 Pontiac of his youth, one of his many ski boats, or later in his retirement the Freightliner. He found joy in water skiing, snow skiing, and boating. His summers were spent enjoying life on his houseboat at Two Rivers Marina, and he loved nothing more than soaking up the sun. In 2023, he made Phoenix his winter home, pursuing the warm weather. Terry’s life was a journey of love, dedication, and adventure. May he rest in peace. He is preceded in death by his second wife, Sandy (d. 2019)
