Vileta Ernst

Vileta L. Ernst, 96, of Davenport, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Vileta was united in marriage to Werner Ernst He preceded her in death in August of 2009. Vileta worked for over 40 years at Bendix as an assembler.

Vileta was a member of Westside Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and visiting family and friends in Switzerland.

Survivors include her son, Danny (Jane) Ernst of Davenport; grandchildren, Jennifer (Adrian) Marrero and Steven (Laura) Ernst; great-grandchildren, Elijah Marrero, Lukah Marrero, Emilia Marrero, and Zoey Ernst; sister, Doris Van Trease; Nephews, Dr. David Van Trease and Clint Van Trease.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Edith Grimes; her husband, Werner, and one nephew, Raleigh Van Trease.
