Funeral services for Steven L. Collier, 55, of Davenport, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will follow in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, IA. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the mortuary. Mr. Collier died at his residence on Saturday, December 14, 2013 following a brief illness.Steven Lewis Collier was born on May 2, 1958 in Cedar Rapids, IA, the son of Andrew and Dorothy (Hagan) Collier. He was a graduate of Cedar Rapids High School and was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church in Davenport.Surviving members of the family include – his father: Andrew of Davenport; a Sister: Linda (Daniel) Rohse of Princeton, IL; and a Brother: Ken (Becky) Collier of Cedar Rapids.He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy.
