Roy J. Williams

Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.

Roy was born September 10, 1938 in Monroe City, MO. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Jean Scott on March 4, 1960 in Monroe City MO. Roy was a proud devoted father. He had been employed at the former ALCOA for 32 years retiring as a General Mechanic. He was proud member of Truth Temple Church of God in Christ and later joined Jerusalem Temple Apostolic Church. Roy was dedicated to giving to those less fortunate. He regularly gave to local food pantries.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Carolyn Jean Williams; parents Roy & Irene (Holland) Williams; brother James Holland.

Roy leaves to mourn him a daughter Jennifer Williams; 3 sons Terry, Curtis, & Jason Williams; sister Betty Moore, daughter in law Vicky; grandchildren Terrance K. Williams, Laryn Ingram-Williams, Aleczander “Bubba” Carter, Jason Williams, and Alexandria Williams; 2 great grandchildren Meilani and Mila Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
