Ron Joseph Wagner, 40, of Buffalo, IA, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, January 16th at 1:30 pm at the Blue Grass Community Center. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Ron was born in Iowa City on October 16, 1981. He was the son of Roland and Lisa (Pottebaum) Wagner.
Ron owned and operated R&R Recovery Company in Buffalo. He previously worked for Trinity Hospital in Muscatine and as a Correctional Officer at the Muscatine Correctional Facility. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his hunting trips with his dad. Also with his dad, he loved to work on cars and motorcycles; Harley’s being his favorite. His family meant the world to him and he greatly enjoyed spending time with all of them.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Roland and Lisa, Blue Grass, sister, Melissa (Christian) Ware, Blue Grass and their children, McKenna, Mia and Christian, aunts and uncles: Steve (Judy) Pottebaum, Julie Edward and Walt (Marlene) Donath, his beloved dog, Dizzy and numerous extended family members. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Darlene and Edward Pottebaum and Darlene and Walter Donath along with several aunts and uncles.
