Rob, as he was known to friends and Robbie to his wife and family, and occasionally, “Robert Charles!” if he was getting into mischief. He was beloved by many and a friend to everyone. Rob had a smile that lit up the room. He was greatly interested in all of his kids and grandkids lives, including those of his two remaining siblings, “Dotti” (Evan) Bornholtz of Grand Blanc, MI and John (Chris) Wilbur of San Diego, CA.
Rob worked diligently and was found to be resolute over the years to provide for his family. From managing a retail store, to co-running his own satellite business, to managing his rental properties, and then employed at ADM in many departments for 37 years. He has spent the last 11 years in his retirement traveling to his favorite places with his family, attending church services, and helping his two sons start a new business; Steam Anchor in Fulton, IL. Rob will be dearly missed and his legacy will continue to live on throughout generations.
