Ray was born on July 23, 1951, to August and Berniece (Bousselot) Voss. Ray graduated from Calamus High School and Scott Community College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Ray worked over 35 years as a Millwright at Sivyer-Steel and retired from Alcoa in 2013. He enjoyed going to the Y, collecting die-cast cars, coffee talk with friends, baking, games, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Sandra Voss and Elizabeth Corsiglia; grandchildren Skyler Voss, Amelia Voss, Aidan Corsiglia; siblings Robert Voss (Diane) of Marion, IA, and Ron (Connie) Voss of Bennett, IA.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents August and Berniece (Bousselot) Voss; and his twin sister Norma Jean Voss.
