Michael David Kroeger, 38, of Davenport passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, June 30, 2013. Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 1-4 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for his children’s educational fund.
Michael was born December 23, 1974 in Davenport, the son of David P. and Jacque (Bares) Kroeger. He was employed as a driver with UPS, where he had given 20 years of service at the Davenport Hub. In addition to coaching West Pony Leagues, he was an avid softball player himself and had a true love of the game. Michael was also known for his unique sense of humor and strong political views; he never missed an opportunity to share his knowledge and ideas.
Those celebrating his life include his wife, Julie; daughter, Phoenix, sons: Jacob and Aiden; sister, Kristine E. Brockmeyer; brother, Douglas; cousin, Melissa Andrews and countless friends and ball players.
