Mary K. Robesky, 91, of Davenport, IA, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Genesis East Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 22, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bettendorf, with visitation held an hour prior to the service, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., also at the church. Mary was born October 11, 1930, to John and Kathryn (Poorbaugh) Graham in Lakewood, Ohio. She graduated from East High School in Des Moines, IA. On June 6, 1953, Mary was united in marriage to Henry John Robesky. Together they had five children: Diana Susan, Michael Henry, Mary Elizabeth, Thomas Charles, and James William. Mary and Henry were founding members of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
Mary will be missed by her children, Michael (Cindy) Robesky, Mary (John) Riley, Thomas (Lauren) Robesky, and James (Shari) Robesky; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Edward Marcusen; her husband, Henry, in 1995; a daughter, Diana; a grandson, Cailean Charles Riley; and two sisters: Nancy Ann Boyvey and Carolyn Sue O’Brien.
