Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Eldridge. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Marilyn was born a daughter of Walter and Ruth (Stoldorf) Bossen on March 28, 1945 in Davenport, IA. She was united in marriage to Larry Wilson until he passed away in July, 1998.

Marilyn cherished her family and her church dearly. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church for many years.

Those missing her deeply are her children, David (Carilyn) Bettis of Urbandale, IA, Laurie Bettis of Davenport, IA and Ruth Vance of DeWitt, IA; sister, Delores Carlson of Davenport, IA; grandchildren: Jennifer, Josh, Algie Jr., Maren, Ethan, Kevin, Krista, Megan, Joshua and Rachel; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Larry Wilson; and daughter, Barbara Ford.
