Lisa Renee Watson

She was born 01/14/1978, in Peoria, IL. Lisa graduated from Hamilton Technical College and received a degree in Medical Assisting. She practiced actively as a Medical Assistant before fulfilling her dreams in becoming self-employed with Team Watson painting. She was married to Aaron Watson 01/31/2001.

Lisa was a mother, wife, daughter, sibling, grandmother, aunt and cousin. Her greatest accomplishment was attaining the title of mother and then grandmother. She found most enjoyment in sleepovers with her grandchildren, fishing with her children, crocheting, dancing and time spent with her dogs.

Lisa was proceeded in death by grandparents Marjorie and Edwin Phillips, grandmother Mary Maxwell and sister Tamika Watson.

Surviving Lisa are her parents Donna Phillips and James Patterson Sr., Georgette and Terrell Cade, her husband Aaron Watson, siblings James Patterson Jr., Yazzmin "Shirley" Sakinah, Nathaniel Patterson, Christopher Patterson, Jimmy and Janelle Patterson, Leonette Patterson, Mattie and Gerardo Salinas, Jason Pendleton, Adrian and Kayla Watson, Quincy Ross, Tonisha and BJ Martin; her children Kia and Mitchell Newkirk, Tyrus Johnson, Elijah Watson, Kevonte Watson and her grandchildren Khloe Newkirk, Karter Newkirk, Elijah Watson Jr.

Memorial arrangements will be held 09/10/2021 at Christ Apostolic Church located at 1201 West 6th Street Davenport, IA 52803 for family with public attendance to follow.
