Leroy H Korth

LeRoy H Korth, 79, of Bettendorf, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. Mary Heathcare with his loving family by his side. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11am at Weerts Funeral Home, Jersey Ridge and Kimberly. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9th from 3-7pm at Weerts Funeral Home. Burial following the funeral service at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials in Leroy’s name may be made to the family.

LeRoy was born in 1939 to Leo and Louise Korth, in Moline, IL. He graduated from Davenport High School in 1960. On June 18, 1960 LeRoy was united in marriage to Sue Whiting, they were married for 20 years. On August 29, 1981 he later married Kathryn Arthur. He was a milk man for Micheel Dairy for 18 years and Downings Dairy for 9 years. He was a Little League Coach for many years, active in the Lions Club, the Bowling Association, and the DIVCO Club. LeRoy loved to fish, hunt, dance, and go bowling. He also loved to collect glass milk bottles and milk trucks.

Those left to honor LeRoy’s memory are his wife of 37 years; his children: Kenny (Bridget) Korth, Karen (John) Fuller, Michael Korth, and David Korth; step children: Steven (Tammy) Arthur and Becky Williamsen; 5 grandchildren Drew, Jessica, Joe, Amanda, Hannah, and Alex; 12 great-grandchildren; his sister Betty Ann Thomas; and brother Leo Korth Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Russell and Larry; and two sisters Barbara and Ruth Ann.
