Jon LeRoy Pierce, 57, of Davenport, formerly of Cambridge, IA died Friday, February 18, 2011. A Celebration of life gathering will be held at Club Mokan on West Kimberly Rd on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 7:00 pm. Online condolences may be left at www.therungemortuary.com.
Jon was born March 24, 1953 in Boone, IA, the son of Harold and Dorothy (Olson) Pierce. He was employed as a construction worker and a mechanic. He enjoyed collecting, riding motorcycles and gaming.
Those left to honor his memory include his brothers and sisters: Harold “Hal” (Cyndi); Leonard (Ann); Jean (Dale) Williams; Cheryl (Harley) Schultz; Don (Diane), ten nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
