Frances “Fran” J. Baker of Davenport passed away on her 80th birthday, January 5, 2017. Arrangements are being handled by Runge Mortuary. A private burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park on January 10, 2017.
Fran was born January 5, 1937 in Jefferson City, MO, the only child of John and Mabel (Smith) Pennington. She married George Parker in 1959. She later married William H. “Bill” Baker in 1978. Bill preceded her in death on June 12, 2000.
Fran was a Life Member of the Women of the Moose.
Survivors include sons William J. “Bill” (and wife Kathy) Parker, Davenport, Evan G. (and wife Helen) Parker, Ankeny and daughter Deborah “Deb” J. Parker, Bettendorf; 4 grandsons: Travis Parker, CO, Regan (and wife Jenna) Parker, Marietta, GA and Nathan and Michael Tilka, Bettendorf.
