Douglas Lloyd Grage

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. His final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may go to the American Red Cross.

Doug was born in Davenport on June 7, 1943. He was the son of John and Marie (Nilles) Grage. He proudly served in the US Army.

He had worked for J.I. Case Company for 32 ½ years before retiring on February 1, 1997. After retiring he worked as an accountant for H&R Block Tax Company. Doug was a quiet, reserved man who loved woodworking, tinkering in his garage and was active up until his passing working around his home. He was a NASCAR fan; especially watching Richard Petty. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Kyle (Sonia) Grage and their daughter Ella, Superior, CO; brother, John “Jack” (Carol) Grage, New Liberty, IA, sister, Dianne (Denny) Kelding, rural Scott County, nephews, Tony, Rod and Ron Grage and a niece, Regina Adams.

His parents and a brother, Richard preceded him in death.
