Aunt Audrey lived a long life. She loved gardening and was proud of her yard and home. She could make a tasty lasagna and her sticky pecan rolls and monkey bread were awesome. She loved her dog Bluzie and her friends and family. I will never forget our long breakfasts together when I was in town for a visit. I'm thankful  for the time we had together. Aunt Audrey was ready to meet the Lord. I will miss her presence but grateful that her wish has been granted as she is now with God. 




A NEW ROSE IN HIS GARDEN

Audrey was blessed with the gift to make friends…
and for ninety-five years she spread joy,
So tiny in stature...so large in her heart…
in her sweet voice….she knew what to say.

Many sweet memories...filling her days..
as the years took their toll on her life,
Her faith kept her strong as she thought of “tomorrow”
…..and remembered her years as a child.

Audrey...so loved by her family and friends…
...was treasured and respected by all…
A lady of class...with a heart of compassion…
and deep love for her heavenly Father.

To us….she was the lady..with the soft, gentle voice…
believing everyone’s faults are forgiven…
And now she spreads sunshine as she walks in His garden…
No more fears…..only love with her Jesus.

So sorry to hear about your mom's passing.  Thought and prayers are with you.


I feel very blessed to be one of Audrey's many friends from the Bettendorf Christian Church.  When she came to our bible study class she was like a ray of sunshine.  She had a hug and kind word for each of us.  The angels must be celebrating to have Audrey come home to be with her Jesus.  We will miss her but she was ready to go home.  R.I.P. dear Audrey.
