BROWN, Ronald Leroy - of Dartmouth, passed away at the age of 86 on October 25, 2022. Son of Clarence and Mary Brown. He leaves behind his wife Eleanor of 65 years, a brother Allan (Linda) and sister Jan (David), his daughter Kim (Garry), son Terry (Susan), Daughter Susanne (Gordie), son Scott (Josie) and son Bobby. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Andrew, Joline, Matthew, Amanda & Lori, great grandchildren, Ronan, Sophia, Tristen and Courtney. A brother, Allan (Linda) and sister, Jan (David) He was predeceased by Granddaughter Jennifer Horne and Jennifer Fitzsimmons , brothers Jackie (Rose), Gerald( Marion) Clarence (Donna) and sister Millie. Ron was in the army as a cook for 30 years. Later in some of the finest restaurants in Halifax and on the oil rigs. He loved the Bluenose ship and also built by hand replica's of the Bluenose and various other ships. He loved to play cards and go fishing and loved to spend time with the children of the family. As per Ron's wishes, the funeral will be for family only.
