LINTAMAN, Roger Leon – 77, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully with his wife and sons at his side Saturday, September 18th in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. Born April 3rd 1944 in Halifax, he was the son of the late William and Mae (Scudder) Lintaman. Roger is survived by his wife of 54 years, Myrna (Osborne) and sons; Todd (Wendy) and Adam (Amanda) and much loved grandchildren; Josh, Laura, Katie and Cooper, brother; Darrell (Wilma), St. Catharines, Ontario as well as extended family. He was predeceased by infant son; Troy Allen and brother; Wayne. Roger became a Chartered Accountant in the mid 60’s and worked for several firms and businesses in both Nova Scotia and PEI. His last assignment before retiring was with the Nova Scotia Office of the Auditor General. He loved being on the water whether it was rowing for North Star, sailing out of the Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron or the Dartmouth Yacht Club or taking cruises to Alaska, Panama, Caribbean, Europe or his amazing trip to Sable Island. Most of all he enjoyed the family beach vacations to Prince Edward Island every year. Special thanks to nurses Sydney and Andrea who helped him through his final hours. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will occur. Burial in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Dartmouth. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
