Haslett, Mary Patricia- age 64 of Barr Settlement, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday August 6, 2023. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Marguerite (Murphy) and the late Ralph Haslett.
Mary Pat leaves behind her husband Terry, daughter Tara (Richard), son Jeffrey (Sherrianne), grandchildren whom she adored, Tyler, Drew, Chace and Brooklyn. Mary Pat is survived by her siblings Harry (Cathy), Darlene (Stevie), Danny, Maureen (Jimmy), Ann-Marie (Lorne), many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.
Mary Pat retired from Bell Aliant after 37 years of service. The last 10 years of retirement she enjoyed reading, watching her favorite shows, many outdoor adventures, family trips, time with family and she enjoyed the wildlife at their property in Tatamagouche.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth, on August 17, 2023, from 6-8 pm. Memorial service will take place at Mattatall Funeral Home on August 18, 2023 at 11am. Reception to follow. Burial will be at a later date. Donations in Mary Pat’s memory can be made to Hope for Wildlife.
