Marie Helen Roche

December 2, 2023 Marie Helen Roche age 104 peacefully passed away at Oakwood Terrace Nursing Home Dartmouth, NS. Born on May 15th, 1919 in West Chezzetcook, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaus (Stanley) & Margaret Roma.

Marie / Mom / Gammy as we called her spent her entire life devoted and dedicated to looking after her entire family. We will all miss her smile, and are all so fortunate to have so many memories that span over 10 decades.

She had so many interests; A master seamstress, musical talents (that she passed along), fishing at the camp, needlework,crocheting, knitting (she passed along too).

Marie is survived by her daughter, Joan Parker of West Chezzetcook; 11 grandchildren/step grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by; husband Elmore Roche (Curly); brother, Harold Roma; son, Douglas Roche; sister, Virginia Roma; step children, Gerry (Jed) Roche, Donna Warner, Glenda Clarke and Kenneth (Cage) Roche along with step granddaughter, Heather Clarke.

A Catholic Church Service and burial will be held in the spring. Dates will be announced once finalized.
