Marie Therese “Terry” Bartlett age 96 of Dartmouth NS passed away on December 14, 2024 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Salmon River, NS she was the daughter of the late J. Eddie and Alphree (Gaudet) Deveau and wife of the late Sydney Bartlett.
Terry was an avid bridge player and managed bridge at Inverness Hall for over 10 years. She loved to volunteer at the Café at Inverness Hall. She enjoyed her favourite puzzle, Soduko, daily and loved listening to classical and opera music.
She retired in 1976 as a statistical analyst for Massey Ferguson, Toronto, Ontario. She was also on the inaugurated study for GoTransit.
She and her husband Sydney spent 22 winters in their condo at Panama City. Each year they would take upward of 1 week to drive down, stopping at their favourite city, New Orleans, for a day or two to take in the music, culture and food.
Terry is survived by her sister, Anne Marie Kilroy as well as several nieces and nephews.
