James "Jack" Robert Hardy, age 70, of Bedford, Nova Scotia passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He is survived by his three children Nicole, Kimberly and Erik Hardy, as well as his sisters Gail and Joanne.
Jack was born October 8, 1951 in Winterpeg, Manisnowba. Known as “Gentleman Jack” he was a highly respected and passionate pilot. He loved nothing more than traveling to different places and meeting new people through his work. His children can confirm that there was no place on earth he could go where he didn’t run into somebody he knew. After his retirement he lived in Halifax with his three children and enjoyed watching golf, staying connected with friends, long drives along his old stomping grounds and having a cold one (or two).
Jack experienced some health setbacks during the later years of his life but was strong, resilient and somehow always able to crack a joke, even during the hardest times. Despite everything he always put his children first, and was always checking in and cared about what was going on in the lives of others. His family is comforted by the fact that he's now flying up in the sky, in the place he loved to be most.
We will miss you very much Dad,
Rest in Peace.
Love Nicole, Kim and Erik
