Betty is survived by her husband Clyde Wambolt (Sonny); sister Brenda Hodgson, daughters Sherry Osborne (Jamie) and Patty Kielbratowski (Richard); Grandchildren Ashley, Jessica (Kenny), Gregory (Maria), Holly, Steven (Ashley) and Michael (Emma) and great grandchildren Nathan, Charley, Ivy and Chase, whom she absolutely adored. Betty was best known for her love of children. She loved babysitting many of kids in the Passage including her own grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed Sunday night bowling with friends, hanging out at the local Tim Horton’s with her coffee and muffin, and was well known for her love of bingo!
Sonny and Betty shared a love like no other and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past August. In their early years they loved going out dancing at the buffalo club and taking family camping trips with their daughters to Green Valley Campground.
The family appreciates and thanks everyone who has reached out and expressed their condolences during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dartmouth General Hospital for their great care of Betty as well as her family physician Dr. Warren.
Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but we are so grateful for all the special moments and memories we have shared with her. Betty was loved by so many and her presence will always live on in our hearts. The family will be respecting Bettys wishes by hosting a private celebration of life.
