Dorothy Marguerite Duffy

Duffy, Dorothy M.- 91 of Enfield passed away peacefully on Feb.3, 2014 at Magnolia Continuing Care, Enfield. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of Amable and Elizabeth (Barrett) LeRue. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching Jeopardy . She would enjoy baking and would like to take walks for her execise. Dorothy mainly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons Phillip and Mark (Elaine); daughters Patsy (Harry) Nickerson, Susan (Thomas) Gillespie and Janice (Robin) Cheng Dawn(Doug) Poole; brother Stanley Barbara) LeRue and sister Anastasia (Henry) Coyle; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her loving husband James W.; brother Francis and sisters Jeanette, Marie and Lorraine. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday February 10, 2014 in St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, Father Frank Pellerine officiating. Interment in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Alzheimers Society.
