Marie was known for her great baking, no one could match her flaky pie pastry, famous fudge and butter tarts. Marie enjoyed the special time she had with her siblings especially the times gathered around her sister Veronica’s kitchen table, on Friday nights. Mom sure was a fighter! We called her our “Miracle Momma”. Stronger than any of us ever knew. She battled hard the last couple of years to stay with us, defying even the Doctors, going home from the hospital two years ago when they said she never would. Our Dad was by her side helping make it happen. Rest easy now Momma, we love you and we will never forget our special times with you. We would like to thank all the special people who helped our mom over the last few years. Special thanks to Northwood, VON (Amanda Allan you are amazing), Moffatts Pharmacy, Mineville Medical Clinic, and the amazing staff at Dartmouth General Hospital 3 West. You all have touched our hearts with your kindness. Service will be held 11am, Thursday, October 21, 2021, at A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth.
