Joyce graduated from Ridgefield High School. She was married to her beloved husband Charles for 49 years.
Joyce worked in banking for Fairfield County Bank in Ridgefield until her retirement in 2016. She was a Deacon in the Community of Christ, and served in the Norwalk Congregation. Joyce had a passion for traveling, decorating and enjoying her extended family.
Joyce is predeceased by a daughter April. Joyce is survived by her daughter Samantha Nielsen and her husband Paul and her granddaughter Kayla. Her brothers Joseph Klingele of New York, Alfred Klingele and his wife Beth and Chris Klingele of Connecticut and her sister Laura Crocker and her husband Donald of New Hampshire, Edward and Faye Klingele of Ohio and her nieces and nephews.
Joyce's family will be accepting condolences on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT 06810. A celebration of life will be held on September 28, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Green Funeral Home. Burial will be held a later date.
