John “Jack” Keenan, of Danbury, CT passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 unexpectedly at his home in Danbury. He was the husband of the late Carolyn (Perrotti) Keenan.
Jack was born in Danbury, CT, a son of the late John J. Keenan and Josephine (Morris) Keenan. He attended St. Peter School in Danbury and was a 1958 graduate of Bethel High School. Jack received a certificate from Western Connecticut in Danbury in Business Management and Effective Supervision.
Jack was proud to have served with the U.S. Army and Army reserves for 6 years. After the Army he worked at Danbury Centerless Grinding Corp for 25 years and then Castro Convertible Corp until his retirement in 2002.
Back in the day, Jack loved to play golf and bowl, and more recently bingo and working in his yard, and always enjoyed a good cocktail now and then.
In addition to his companion, Charlotte (Schlemmer) Gill, survivors include his nephews and many cousins.
A Burial with military honors will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel, CT at a date and time to be announced.
