Born in Jamaica, NY to the late John and Fanny Caraccio, Jean attended schools in the Bronx. She was a former sewing operator and sales lady.
A previous longtime Yonkers, NY resident, Jean had been a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers and it’s Rosary Society. A Danbury resident for over 20 years, Jean was a member of St. Gregory Church in Danbury. Jean had been an active bowler in both Yonkers and Brookfield. She enjoyed the NY Yankees and cooking for her family.
Jean was predeceased by her siblings: Theresa Brown, Catherine Santangelo and Rocco Campanelli. Survivors include her sons: John Aquino and his wife, Christine Kerin-Aquino, of Henderson, NV; and Dennis Aquino and his spouse, Richard Milstein, of Prattsville, NY. Her grandchildren: Kevin and Lauren and their mother, Kimberly Aquino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:30AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Friends will be received from 9am-10am on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
