Beatrice Francis Stewart age 90, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2019. Beatrice, or Bea as she was known by, was born January 9, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to the late John and Sophie Farley. In
October 1950 at the age of 21 she married the love of her life, Robert Philip Stewart. Bea is survived by her husband of 68 years, her son Robert John and daughter-in-law Maryanne; her grandchildren Robert Stewart Jr, Kathleen and Matt Hoffman, Christine Stewart and Meghan Stewart. Also surviving are her beloved great grandchildren Devlin, Gabriel and Fiona whom she loved more than anything. She was predeceased by her brother Harold Farley.
Beatrice touched many people’s hearts and will truly be missed by all. She will especially be missed by her family who loved her more than words can describe. A burial service will be held in Bea’s honor on
July 15, 2019 at 10:30am at Saint Peter’s cemetery in Danbury, CT. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Beatrice's name to Saint Peter’s Parish in Danbury.
